Our main character estimates the weight watcher points for everything she eats which I believe was to let us know that she is working to be thin so we should all admire her for this. This author and her series came highly recommended. Would you like to tell us about a lower price? Her obsession with interior design reflecting the people’s personalities in this book, because you know if you don’t have hardwood flooring, you are a bit frumpy.

It is the first book that I couldn’t focus on because I kept wondering if the author ever had a real female friendship. There was a problem filtering reviews right now. I would not recommend this camjlla. Person refuses to talk or think about it for ages. Also, the narrator had this extremely annoying problem where he gave Erica a very breathy voice. Except maybe the old Dagmar Petren.
It reads like a romance novel masquerading as a mystery. The author spends an entire paragraph explaining how this woman is over weight and how disgusting she finds her. I’m convinced this was romance disguised as mystery. This would have been moderately believable if Erica displayed any level of intelligence.

I love some really terrible books and I am not ashamed of it and neither should you. Every woman in the book was completely dependent on men, did everything to please some man in her life and their hardest worry was to have a fine make-up in every occasion. The female characters are largely dislikeable and often portrayed in a stereotypical way. On top of all the bad characterizations and dopey plotting, bad writing abounds.
I started reading the Van Veeteren series by Nesser and couldn’t be happier. When a woman asked our main character how she is doing after discovering the body of a former friend.
