Ironical it may sound, and quite anti-spirit to the theme of this blog but i guess i am getting a little old for these bubble-gum romances. Ankitx experience gives the story a more realistic feel. Also, I dont like Shewali’s decisions through a majority of the book, she’s over-dramatized at parts and at parts she just plain acts stupid, like the end, but Avi is just a great foil for her, and he makes the whole book seem a lot better. Please remember, differences of opinion are welcome, obnoxious flame wars are not. About writing, publishing, promoting books? I rather found it quite anythinng in some sort of an eagerish way of going along while reading.
I found the character of Shewali adorable. This modern time love story was written by Harsh Snehanshu. I searched a lot about the publishers to be approached, how to write a good query letter, literary agents, etc.

Always engaged in work, somewhere she has imagined a list of qualities her guy should have. It is unpretentious in its approach, a kind of book which makes no bones about the kind of environment it is setting itself into or even minutely flinching away from its target audience.
What were the main challenges and how did you tackle them? Because, it is through that letter a publisher gets an idea of the whole picture. As they say opposite attracts Shewali is sweet, simple girls where as Avi is naughty and aynthing and as the story progressed how these two become from frenemy to friends and fall for each other is a beautiful journey.
But, what rules do you follow when you start falling in love? But chadja you learn with each step. I cannot think of any other debut novel in recent times which packs in elxe many plot points from Hindi movies as this one does.

I loved you even before I knew it, The scent of your skin still lingers on my senses, I can see that we are blinded by our natural magnetism towards each other, We are dancing to each others’ tunes, rhythmic beats, And still you say that between us there can be ‘Anything else but love! Since he was from a small town, the big metropolitan city was intimidating him and he struggles to fit in.
Impatience is what I think I should have worked upon. Flowing text, Original pages. Its very clear, not every one will like this book, but people who actually do enjoy movies like Dil Waale Dulhaniya Le Jaenge, or Kuch Kuch Hota Hein should definitely consider this book as it is likely to be really enjoyable for them to read.

One plot point which i particularly found offensive is the background of a corporate world, which is far away from anmita reality. But then I came to know that it usually takes this much time, or even more, to get published.
It’s the kind of screenplay in which every obstacle in the characters’ lives could be overcome by having one sensible conversation which for some strange reason, they never have since everyone here is ready to snap at each other at the drop of a hat. However, the basic flaw here is that author can’t seem to decide the tone in the book.
